Had a drink tonight, went on eBay and bought one myself. No idea what the missus will say in the morning. Doesn’t matter, I’ll be smiling anyway
Good luck with getting one for yourself.

I've tried similar and didn't think much of it. Now have one of these connected to the bottom of the mirror...200639594323

Re: Flickering internal light
I've had this problem for a while, just swapped the lights over in both my Zeds and the problem has gone (with the added bonus that my car now locks on the remote again)

Re: Possible seat change
I've been looking for sport seats for a while, seem to cost about £300. Decided to buy another Zed that had some fitted for £780 from ebay. Planning on taking everything I need (seats, seals etc) and swapping over. Considered breaking car but have been offered £600 from my brother who only wants it ...

Thanks Brian We did talk about the clutch switch, I'm unsure if he ordered one in, I'll have to double check on that.

Re: Fitting cruise control
Tried to get cruise control fitted to my 97 2.8 auto by a local german car specialist (ordered from a breaker) who has fitted it and can't get it working. He tells me that he cant get it to send/receive a signal. I had it in 4 Mondays in a row with him promising to get it working, he's now given up!...

I'd go with the no more nails strip, I used it to stick carpet to the garage wall a couple of weeks ago, it's still stuck solid

Re: Standard or Super unleaded?
I've been using V Power in my 2.8 for the last couple of months, it definetly feels smoother and pulls harder compared to what I used to get at asda.

I did see them, my car is blue with the same colour interior as your new seats so they really wouldn't match my car.

I must admit I've been watching them too. I've recently ordered roll bars, 12 months tax and 2 new door mirrors so you should be able to out bid me
