Re: Anyone use a wind blocker ?
Just finished mine! http://i1365.photobucket.com/albums/r743/mathieuboosh/JORDAN-LAPTOP/Pictures/Cars/IMAG1153_zpsfdxd3jn0.jpg Drilling the slots for the Velcro straps was the trickiest, but a bit of patience and and steady hand were enough. And I'm quite pleased with the outcome. And the savings! ...

Re: Best tyres to eliminate tramlining
I'm about to rebuild my front end on my Z3. I was told that the 95 M3 strut hats will stop trammeling. I have them, I also have the offset bushings to recenter the wheel in the wheel well. I'm waiting for the control arms to be delivered. The M3 hats will add caster. That is what I was told was the ...

Re: windstopper mesh D.I.Y.
Not sure if you can get this item where y'all are. I have ordered a plexiglass wind blocker. It's called Windblox. It hasn't arrived yet. I'm getting excited to check it out.

New wheels for the Z3
Here is a pic with the new wheels. The wheels are 18x8.5 Apex Arc 8. Compared to the stock wheels, 16", there is a couple pounds difference. The ride is a bit stiffer but it's a sports car, not a luxury car. http://i118.photobucket.com/albums/o88/rf600/Z3/2016-01-08%2013.36.08_zpsswyjdjgs.jpg h...

Re: My z3
Nice car. I have a titanium silver Z also.
To aid with the trammeling I was told to get 95 M3 strut hats. It will add caster and take care of the trammeling. I have purchased the strut hats. I need to purchase struts, then I will put the M strut hats on.

Re: Front speakers - type/size/recommendations
I have installed an aftermarket head unit. I was tired of the Cd's skipping over every bump. I installed 5.25 componet set up front. Granted the mid hitting your feet is not the best placement, if you put a good speaker in its place it will help out. I didn't want to do any body modification to make...

Re: Z3 UPGRADES AND ADDITIONS.
I wanted to give my input on the seat tilt kit. I really like it. Quality kit. Much better than what I can get here in the U.S. It is just enough tilt. I'm short, 5'6".
Thanks for the kit Barry.

Re: No return for May without Clarkson but...
I reckon Clarkson has passed his sell by date - and to retain the other two with a newbie "Clarkson" would be a failure based on the past and viewer "expectations". Youngsters wouldn't cut it since IMO it was more an "adult" show than anything aimed at the "boy / ...

It's in really good shape. Couple cosmetic things. For the price I paid, I stole it. I can put some money into it and still be ahead.

You wouldn't get there fast. I doubt anyone would get in your way either.

Re: No return for May without Clarkson but...
The show won't be the same without the main guys. I wonder if it will be any good.
My thoughts for a replacement is Tiff Needle or/and Jason Plato.

FNG here
Hey all from across the pond. What brought me here was southernboy's mods. I like his idea for the seat tilt mod. The threaded coupler is just too tall and not enough threads holding the front seat down. It does help be sits too high for me. The car I sold was a 87 Chrysler Conquest. I did a lot of ...
