i always wondered why the idle drops after a few seconds.... if you are coasting it stays at about 950 rpm then once the car completely stops after a few seconds it drops to abouty 800rpm..... its as though its linked to a wheel sensor or the fact the car is moving...

i not looked at mine underneath so wont disagree with you....but that diagram does show two o2 sensors.. so maybe that is for other markets...

same here didnt realise there was a fuel tank pressure sensor.. i wonder if there are custom pids in torque to read that.. or maybe this is only specific to inpa ?

the reason the throttle is showing 0% is probably because my foot is off the throttle and I am in gear just coasting slowly, as for the -64 rpm it reads that as a glitch, as all the sensors glitch a value of 64 when doing data logging i have seen that a few times... you may be right on the calculate...

i just curious as to where the sensor is.... i using the torque app, and can see quite a few sensors and can work out where most of them are... the only one i can't seem to figure out is where it reads vacuum from... most are pretty self explanatory throttle position on the throttle body water temp....

where is the sensor that reads vacuum ?
I am trying to work out on an m44 engine where the sensor is that reads manifold vacuum ? is it the mass air flow... ? as i thought that read air quantity not vacuum, or is it all in the same unit ?

serpentine belt as mine had a few crack in it, and looked like it was original... had bmw stamped on it, 105,000 miles so good for an original belt... Removed the ac belt and replaced it, my AC not working at the moment but have proved the compressor clutch is engaging by shorting out relay contacts...

ohhhh, also was going to ask the additional pins on the 20 pin connector i see one is copmressor, and a comprssor delay pin. can i manually operate the ac compressor in any way here to dagnose my ac compressor...?

wold be good to see some more pictures of this.. i took my radiator fan off today, electric fan m44 1.9 engine 1998 z3, i was flushing the coolant and it was easier with the electric fan out the way.. i really want to give the inside of the undertray a good clean as its covered in oil and crap. look...

Hi, I want to change my door handle gasket as they are perished on both sides. at the same time i may get chrome handles.... depends on cost really... what i was wondering is my passenger handle does not have a key hole, is the gasket different for the passenger side with no key hole... i understand...

I used Jenolite on the ends of the structural sills and underneath the jacking points after removing the surface rust with various wire brushes etc. Then 2 coats of Hammerite followed by Waxoyl, which was also applied to the internals of the structural sill. i had the rear wheel off tonight to have a look at see whats rubbing.. and at the same time tried to get the rear arch liner out...removed the 4 screws holding the liner in...one on the rear bumper one under the sill, and the two on the liner inseide the wheel arch... managed to break one of the cli...

fan is working at high speed... proved by shorting rad temp switch but no low speed... suspect a faulty radiator fan, or maybe someone would suggest any other tests ?

had water in mine when i first had the car.. replaced the antenna grommet, but ever since my car has been garaged so dont really know if i have cured the problem.. time will tell when i get out in the car this year in the rain....ihad to syringe the water out there was loads in there... it felt quit...
