Re: Car cover
I have a classic additions ultimate cover.
I bought it 2nd hand for £50. £200 new.
It had been on an Audi A3 and fits my coupe really well.
The car is carbon black. I’ve never had a black car, lots of marks when I take off the cover.

Re: Solar trickle charger
I’ve recently bought a z4 coupe and rented a parking place in ground floor under flat parking.
There’s no power but I’ve bought a 20w solar panel, a charge controller and fixed it outside and it is working brilliantly.
It’s a smaller version of the one I use on my VW California.

Re: New to the parish....
Have a look on eBay. There's what looks like an excellent 2.2 sport in black.
76k. 02reg. 2 former owners, very good mot history and looks a bargain at £3375.
There might even be room to manoeuvre.
Certainly looks a very good starting point.
Good luck.

Re: Anyone got an automatic Z3?
I have a 3L auto and have recently sold a 2.8 manual. Both engines are very flexible and both cars a real pleasure to drive. The 3l engine is terrific and combines with the auto box beautifully. Out of the two cars I'd choose this car. I'm getting on a bit so the cruising ability suits me whereas 20...

Re: French toad trip
Sounds a brilliant trip. I took my Z3 3.0 sport to Portugal in mid December. Couldn't have been more different. Weather freezing until about Badajoz when I could get the roof down. Doing a trip through France in 8 days time to Il de Re and then, La Rioja and down to Portugal but that's in the VW Cal...

Re: Recent purchase and big trip-help
Would eurocarparts be a good place to buy the replacement parts. (I've not owned one of these before) .
This is another question in itself.
What would be a good set of tools, spanners to undertake this type of job?

Recent purchase and big trip-help
Last week I bought my Z3 3L auto. 3 days ago I set out from Portsmouth to Caen and then a 1300 mile drive through France and Spain to the Algarve. I'm pleased with the car, it hasn't missed a beat and according to the onboard computer has returned 32.8 mpg even when I've been constantly cruising at ...
