recently taking my car for mot it failed as one of the front daMpers was leaking. so know me i thought might as well do an upgrade i found a set of gmax dampers with springs which will cost 265 for 4 compared to 85 pound each for standard dampers but i already have a set of acs lowering springs here...

u have to get ur hand in and twist anti clock wise i think
u normally cut ur hand doin so against the airbox mounting screw

Hi there guys

I use my Z 1.9 about 2-3 times a week it's done 40k miles
i notice when i do drive i always seem to driving it hard.
BMW make very strong engines but will my driving style do it long term damage
or should i just try and do some normal sunday driving

i had the same problem on my compact i was about to buy a new pod
i got a replacement it was still doing the same thing
in the cluster there is a coding module that carries the milage data i think u have to just swap them

hmm my 1.9 does me 230 mile on a 35 quid full tank
but after changing to a k&n replacement element i only get 180
my mate drives an evolution 6 and he gets the same as me
so you guys think there's something wrong with my car?

wire trace?

hi mate
have u tried to do a wire trace i guess what u can do is trace the wires from which the alarms connected to so this can be the alarm LEd indicator or the siren for instance trace the wires from etiher one then bingo....
You will find if u use a multimeter it will make life very easy

HID's are installed but i have one problem everytime i switch the damn thing on my instrument cluster looses power andd resets all the inspection lights come on

nahhh i hate putting that thing on takes too long my roof is manual so if it rains then i can just put the roof up with no problems...or on the other hand if its too hot then i can put the ac on
