What's the best looking new BMW today?
BMW has launched a lot of cars recently. While interesting the X6, X1, 5 Series GT and of course the new Z4 haven't got me excited. The BMW S 1000 RR does. It gets my vote. <img src="http://www.bmwblog.com/wp-content/uploads/bmw-s-1000-rr-21.jpg" alt="" width="1024" hei...

The fact that established tuners like Hamann, Schnitzer and Hartge have kept away from this type of conversion tells you all you need to know. It's very complex and thus expensive. Schnitzer shoehorned the 5l V10 in to an E92 3er, which was quite simple, it's a compact and relatively light engine. T...

I do like both body shapes and agree with modern comforts in the modern Z4, as I want a upgrade that does point to the Z4 but the Z3M roadster is a true car with great timeless looks. In my experience the S54 Z3 ///M and the 231hp Z4 3.0 offer very similar real world performance on road and track. The Z4's superior chassis nullifies the S54's extra power. The 265hp 3.0 Z4 is faster imo. Ultimately it's a choice between the ///M badge and it's retro charm or the modern - roof, rea...

BMW haven't entered a manufacturer backed BTCC team for some time, but it has been supplying customer cars to a number of competitive teams. From 2011 this will no longer be possible as RWD cars have been banned.
