Hi - it is definitely a failure while the light is on. My MOT was in August and the car passed everything except this light. Last reported sighting was from a member here who pm'd me 3 years ago saying they had spotted one in Dorset.
Only one I have seen was in the South of France a couple of years ago.

The other option is you ride to where you are going instead of taking the car :) :) :) :) :) You miss all the fun. Some of my bike rides take an hours drive there, 30mins in the saddle and an hour drives back on fantastic roads. :D Mind you , thats also why I am turning into a bit of fat git :wink:

I got one a couple of years ago. Called a Hollywood. Have used it loads with no problems. Z3 mentioned in the list of cars it fits. Takes up to three bikes. Very handy for a Z......

Levels look ok so hopfully just the pump. It also seems worse if the car is pointing up hill. Doesnt seem to be a problem if pointing downhill while idle.

If the wiring is damaged it may not be obvious to spot. The conductors can be damaged insde the insulation without showing much on the out side. Happened to me too. I had a habit of keeping s*&te behind the passenger seat and it knacked the wiring. Yeah Si thats what I think may of happened. I ...

Yes, according to nice chap at VOSA that reglation re BSU number has been dropped so should not fail. Will be inplace in the future though.

From what I can see quick on the net its only post 2001 reg cars. Classic cars would be exempt. Still dont think it should apply to my 98. I have spoken to the garage and they only failed the plates for lack of BSU number and no other reason. BS is right me thinks.

Do you know anybody who has a note checker?? If they are genuine then picking it up during the day when you can get to the bank shouldnt be a problem for them. Dont be afraid to check and count every note in front of them. The rest depends on wether you want to bank it or use it :wink:

Some had 'm' suspension etc etc. Mines is an 'm'spec and has an 'm' steering wheel. Dont know what difference it makes but I drove a few before bying mine and noticed it wasnt like the others. Might have been the car cause they all drive differently but worth checking.
