Tell me, is the window a part of the roof or can it be changed separately? BW Austin The window is a zipped in unit just like the original. The edge tucks under the seal as you would expect. After enduring one of the worst road trips ever today, the new roof is done. The trip to Romford ended up taking over 4 and a half hours :head: Some lorry driver decided it was time to close the M1 for the day :dunce: Anyway the guys at Hot Hoods fitted the hood despite the weather and very nice it ...

Titan Tim, I had a 1 series 120d SE until last September. I tried a set of 18 inch type 4 AC Schnitzers on it. Unfortunately without the lowered suspension it looked a bit 4 x 4 if you know what I mean. I kept the radius the same with much lower profile tyres to keep the speedo accurate. I put the 1...

I have a 2.8 and the steering is heavy. I've had BMW's before and my last 1 series was the same. It gives you a more planted feel than the usual super assisted systems on most cars these days.

I like it :)

BTW - your boot rack is mounted back to front, the raised section should sit adjacent the rear window - it's intended to strap the ski rack on to so that the ski's angle above the roof line.
It used to be on that way.....I'll change it Thanks

Go to hothoods.co.uk

They do lots of colours, I've been quoted £520 for the Red, but black and blue are cheaper. I spoke to Ian who sent me a sample of the material.

I think it takes between 1 and 2 hours to do. Given that a new window would be £150+ it was worth the cost. We'll have a day out too.
