Re: A momentous day for my Zed

Happy momentous day! :nerd: Those dials are definitely from an S50 ///MR. The S50 was the only (UK spec) model to have that logo on the dial and I'm not sure that your 2.0 would reach 155mph as the speedo suggests! The dash pod must've been swapped out at some time, and not an easy job because AFAIK...

IMVHO, the V2 suits the 'retro' look of the Zed better, and is only slightly less weighty than the V1.
I trialed both and went for the V2.
Either option will give a great improvement on the original in terms of the weight behind the throw.... :)

I did the 3.0i to ///MR conversion back in 2006. The reviews above tell the story very well. The 3.0i is a FAB car, no doubt about it, but in the end it's all down to the amount of cash you can spare. The ///MR is a simply phenomenal piece of kit at today's prices, and is the ultimate Z3, so if you ...

I don't recognise the car, but I wouldn't worry about that mileage on a 13 year old car so long as the book has all the right stamps. From the pics it looks like a well cared for example and the BMW AUC warranty is very comprehensive. Adding 2 years to the standard warranty must've cost a packet! It...
