I've just bought my ticket, so we now have three Z3s attending so far. Where is everyone this year? Clearly we won't be allocated a dedicated Z3 parking area with this number. I've just had a new rear window put in and while I was there the intention was to steam clean the roof as well as he said it was the only type of cleaning required. For technical reasons he couldn't do the whole roof. But he demo'd how to do it properly on the front half. Note you don't just point ...

99.9% certain that it is a failed thermostat. Fortunately they do fail open so the engine runs cold rather than failing closed and overheating.

As far as I am aware, official RHD UK 1.9s were firstly the 1.9 (M44) 140 BHP followed by the 1.9 (M43TU) 118BHP. I believe that some earlier LHD European models may have had a 1.8 (M43) 115 BHP engine - some may have come to the UK and been converted to RHD. I'm not totally sure if the US had a 1....

AFAIK there was a 1.8 in the USA but in the UK the 1.9 M43 was actually badged (on the boot) as 1.8, it was on our first Z3 and caused some initial confusion with the insurers.

Hi and welcome.
There is a fix for sticking steering that (if remember correctly) involves carefully drilling into the steering column where there is a joint and squirting in a light machine oil. I'm almost certain that I got it from Z4-Forum.com.
Good luck.
