Three weeks in the garage awaiting parts from Germany. BMW cannot give an expected delivery date for the parts. Cannot get any official conformation on why this delay.

Had Blackie( 85,000 miles) for over 14 years and Bluie(44,000 miles) for over 13 years. Running costs for Blackie for its life just over £22,000. For Bluie about £8,000. Definitely NOT for sale. The 2 litre six is a great engine and you can certainly have some fun. My wife's is a 1.9L and we often go out in hers. Roof down on the average Bitish roads it is perfectly fast enough. BPH is NOT everything.

The only car that comes close in my opinion to my M is the new Toyota GT86. Light, agile, rear wheel drive and few driver aids.
