Re: WTB Styling 78 or Styling 42 17' alloys
Thanks, can't wait for spring and summer again to use it more. Why can't you have 18's in Italy? Is it the law or do you live in Rome so will crack them!! When I bought my car Id only seen pics if it from the seller and in the pics I thought the 18's were too big and planned to sell them for 17's st...

Re: Accelerator Pedal
Hi had the garage change my cable when in for a service and made a huge difference, throttle was so light it was weird, had to keep pulling my foot back. Much easier to regulate speed now with a light throttle. When it was heavy I was either flooring it or off the throttle, was rather binary! That s...

Re: Hardtop with OEM fitting kit. Cosmos Black
Just to add I do have an OEM bag but it has a tear in it so the bag will be thrown in at no charge. The tear is in the fabric and I guess could sewn up easily. The zip still works fine.

Re: WTB Styling 78 or Styling 42 17' alloys
They very hard to find for some reason (the 78's). I managed to get a set of Style 78's by buying and entire 2.2 sport and taking them off (along with interior and facelift lights). The 78'S are lovely, I just need to get some quality spacers to help it sit right (also have 18 inch Beyern Multis tha...

Re: Z3 Halo Kit - Who can fit it?
Here's the link to TRS. They sell a kit suitable for The Z3 for $315.00. This excludes shipping duties etc etc... The Kit contains everything required to do a Bi Xenon retrofit... http://www.theretrofitsource.com/complete-retrofit-kits/bi-xenon-mini-stage-3-kit-d2s.html Just looking at their halos ...

Z3 Heated rear window switch - model specific?
Hi All,
Just wondering if the HRW switch (pre and post facelift) for the Z3 is specific to the Z3 or can you use e46/e36/e30 etc switches instead?

Re: Wanted: Wing Mirrors
Hi, I have passenger side one fully working. Also have drivers side one but that has broken (see pic below). The mirror and motor are perfect though. The bases have the usual corrosion, can take pics tomorrow in the light. Montreal blue. I believe they are heated as my car had some winter pack fitted...

Re: Z3 Halo Kit - Who can fit it?
It looked great as if it was factory (well it is sort of as used e46 projectors). It also didnt look more modern than the rest of the car. The aftermarket kits I have seen so far all have the round bits too small and equal size which puts me off as well as the super shiny chrome inside the headlight...

Re: Z3 Halo Kit - Who can fit it?
I recall chatting to a guy in the US who was retrofitting e46 projectors and zenons to Z3 headlights. I think it was around $500 plus shipping (you provide headlights, ballasts and bulbs).
It was on one of the Z forums or maybe bimmerforum but I need to check.

Fan direction rotary knob
Hi All, The rotary knob that controls the direction in which the air blows (windscreen, face or feet) is difficult to turn past the windscreen setting in both directions. I have had this issue before and when I changed my interior for a grace lift interior I discovered there is tiny little silver ca...

Re: Z3 Halo Kit - Who can fit it?
Anyone know where you can get the correct halos (as per the grey car pictured) but in a more period halogen colour (by that I mean not on the HID style blue colour, more like the original halos that came on the e39).

I believe Hamman sold the splitter and fog inserts separate to fit the Z3M bumper hence the variations in pics.
This replica is one piece though and no fogs.

Re: Hamman replica front bumper
I saw it at a lower price on nicedeals.co.uk but the buyer feedback from UK buyers is very bad. Overseas buyers feedback was very good though. Not sure what to make of that.. If I buy I'm going to try and collect in person and check the item. This one does not have cutouts for the sidelights and the...

Re: Looking for a 6cyl automatic
Thanks. Just realised my typing is shocking via the iPhone! Not too fussed about a 3.0l, 2.8 is plenty grunt for the mrs and me at the moment. Had a 330i which was too thirsty on expensive oil, especially the Mobil Ibuse not (but at least made up on for it as I put on LPG!) I prefer the original tai...
