I had my CDV fitted on Saturday too, and Ill be honest, I cant really tell much of a difference.

I know I had that Jerky first gear bouncing issue, that seems to be gone, but otherwise......, are you supposed to notice anything else?

This seems to be a common problem as I have had a few emails recently asking what was causing it! I took the car to Dick Lovetts in Swindon and they diagnosed a problem with the windshield washer system and the linkage cable. It cost £170 to get fixed and they had to keep the car for 2 days because...

Im not sure the Runflats will help you in a Blow out situation anyway, they just get you to a garage with a flat.... Bloke Well, apparently run-flats have the advantage of being extremely unlikely to come off the rim, whereas in a proper blowout you can end up trying to steer on metal otherwise... ...

If you wait for the warning light your brakes will be severely foooked and possibly dangerous. The sensors are about £6 and usually break as you remove them from the pad. It's not worth trying to save it. I would disagree, that is what the warning light is there for, when mine went off , I called B...

Just my bit, as ive had both cars... Tramlining is so much better in the Z4...... I had a strutt on the Z3 and yes that cured it, I also have a strutt on the Z4, and with normal tyres there is no tramlining... I dont remember there being much before I put on the strutt either... Thought the tyre cha...

Was great to finally see the car in action, he was the fastest thing on the track as far as I could tell, there wasnt anything there to touch him... and thats included a Bently Contintal T convertible, numerous Porkers, GT3's RS's etc... I know its not ZM3/M3 etc, but I did a few crude runs in my car a week or so ago, and managed 6.0 seconds ( Timed by Dario's Gismo) Thats not bad seeing as Manufacturers time is 5.9 (Z4 3.0ltr SE)

And it doesnt seem to have done my clutch any harm...

Ive just taken out a Warranty Direct, got them down to £395 for the year, with £25 excess..

They jsut paid for a new wiper motor, and that was 10 days after the policy started...

I definately wouldnt be without one.. anything that goes wrong with a BMW costs at least £300 to fix....

Ultraseal do not recommend using the product with tyre profiles less than 50.

Well worth doing! I followed others' advice, fitted Michelin PS2s and bunged a tyre inflator can in the boot. If I get a puncture and ruin the tyre because I filled it with gunk I'm still better off. RFTs don't survive being punctured and they're more expensive to replace than normal tyres. Also wh...

i think the acs ones are nicer but a lot dearer than the alumex,the ones gary brought may be only 50mm thickness with the acs and alumex being 60mm,im sure on that,sorry im becomeing a z3 geek :rtm: :rtm: :rtm: :rtm: plus thers polished or chrome finish,mine are alumex polished but you can get them...
