Sorry, are you suggesting I should get the clutch and oil replaced, or that BMW will do this as part of the gearbox change? The clutch was only replaced a year and a half ago by BMW!

Hi all Having a new gear box fitted by BMW on my 2.2i roadster, does anyone know if they keep the original clutch, or will they replace that as part of the gearbox? Seat belt Warning

when I start my Z the warning lights all turn on to show they are working, this includes the seatbelt warning light, however, if I or a passenger dont wear a seatbelt then the warning light does not go on! Can anyone tell me if its a case of its not supposed to wrok, or do i have a fault?

Have to agree with your comments - its just the fact my Z is still under a BMW warranty, therefore i have to have BMW original parts installed! Ha ha! Seriously no joke!

My current one pushes the cd only quarter of the way out, the motor continues to run (which its not supposed to do!), therefore it has to be replaced, BMW dealer is doing it on Wednesday, quoted £510! Therefore I now have a radio surplus to requirements, anyone interested?

Again thanks for the ideas, in honesty when its in full lock it just does what i think most cars do, i.e it just squeals a little! Its an odd noise to me, but could pass as normal, the worrying part is the clicking I`m getting!!

Nice Tim. Thats the kind of result i`m hoping for, where the water just rolls off the paintwork! Think a few more hours (possibly days!) of polishing and a build up of the wax shoiuld get the result i`m after, being a perfectionist has its perils!

Good news all, my knob has been replaced!

It now illuminates and is slightly more squishy than my previous knob, which I have to say is quite nice to hold!!
