Thanks guys! Callipers replacement is a good idea although they are not cheap new so I will certainly take your advise on the reconditioned ones IF I can find someone that does them? Standard vented and yellow stuff pads sound good, gagging to get it back on the road, what with the sunny spell, typi...

Front brakes advice needed!

Hi all, I have notice a "clicking" noise when braking recently, and the brakes are what I can only describe as vague! So I have started to investigate and noticed the front discs are orange with rust and the callipers look terrible (rusty too) So I took the car to a mechanic and he confirm...

I popped in the main dealer today to ask about an additional key, and after they took the reg plate all the info came up about the car. So today I fitted the housing to the door, the fixed the other related issues. It's not too tricky but I did have a couple of snags! Stripped the wires back on both and soldered together, wrapped and fed back into door. Attached rubber door seal to housing then back to door. Cleaned and lightly oile...

How to correctly fit a wing mirror (complete housing)

Due to age, materials used and corrosion door/wing mirrors are increasingly hard to come by. So the aftermarket parts are the safer albeit more expensive option. So how exactly should the new unit be fitted? Can the paint be sprayed direct to the plastic housing? Does it need a primer? How long doe...
