With the lower eBay price he has set the bar
Good luck, if I had the space I’d go and have a look at it.

I’ve had a few sets of wheels done by local mobile companies, ok but not perfect.
I had a set done at Lepsons in Kent and was very happy, not much more expensive than the mobile boys either.

Re: ABS lights - frustration!
I have a friend with a BMW X5 and he was having problems with ABS as described, his local mechanic said it was the alternator playing up, under and overcharging so he replaced it, ABS problem gone.
Not saying it’s always that but worth looking into.

I’ve done the lights on my van a few times and they eventually fade again. In the end I bought new light units from eBay.

This is the pedal on mine (2001), it could be the potentiometer
http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/showpar ... Id=35_0155
It could also be a Throttle Position Switch which is on the top front of the engine.
‘Water ingress’ where ?

Good advice indeed. I thought the Zed gearbox was more or less bulletproof.
I’ve managed to source a spare auto gearbox for my Mustangs, also rebuilds cost around £900.
How much were you quoted for a rebuild on the Zed gearbox ?

One of the rear exhaust boxes had become loose and I thought it may be the double clamp between the box and centre pipe. It was the flange on the centre pipe which had come clean away from the pipe. It has extended Champagne interior, no sat nav.
I thought it had CSL wheels but they are from a BMW 1M.

I think the reason so many are for sale is the recent asking prices are on the up so owners jump on the wagon. Same thing happened with the CSL last year, over 20 for sale at one point.

Price will always vary due to condition.
Yours has damage to the bonnet and looks to have damage to the front bumper and stone chips.
If you are asking for opinions then I would’ve have been happy to accept the £4150 that it reached on EBay it it were mine.
Ps, I did have a bid
