The mechanism moves momentarily then stops - I don't want to force it back too hard.
I seem to remember reading some ware, that there is a button in the boot
which will switch the roof to manual operation?
I don't know for sure, as I don't have an electric top.

By the way, I drive on the right, occasionally going left, but sill on the right.
The 'Boys in Blue' over here were given (a few years ago now) 911's.
After having crashed a few, they were withdrawn, and they now have Opel Astra's plus the odd Volvo.

I have got a button under the hand brake, a sod to get at when the hand brake is off.
Its for the heated rear window on the hard top.

Gills

After collecting my Z a couple of weeks ago and looking in the boot, I found brand new chrome Gills still packed in plastic.
My car is silver, so I am not sure about using them, probably like the previous owner.
