i'm sure that my car did this last week when I was washing it. I dis-armed the alarm by the fob, didnt open any doors or boot...while washing the car it reactivated and locked. I will do a test on the car today to find out. just incase it was someone indoors playing with the keys winding me up.

Autoglym super resin polish.

Was told to try this by a BMW tecnician inside & out. My rear window was cloudy when I bought my car. A couple of treatments of the autoglym and it worked. also water runs off a dream.

i only bought one of the bumper marker lights a couple of weeks ago from the main dealer (sytners) had to be ordered in but was £17 and a few pennies including vat. I was supprised at the cheapness for the full unit.

Just picked up the Lidl booklet for things coming in on Monday December 1st and on pg5 is a model kit by revell.
picture is of BMW Mini Cooper but others available are the BMW Z8 and Bugatti EB110

the exhaust popping when you have lifted off.....YES i had that but i put it down to the mods on the car and the fuel mixture being out a little due to the map that was on the car not being set up with all the mods in place. since the new exhaust and the remap it doesnt pop and gurgle at all.

I had exactly the same. while going through the revs the car kind of hesitates and clears. almost like bit of a flat spot. I also had the rattling noise from the exhaust system. I fitted a new cat and back box and noticed the difference immediately. Still just incase it isnt that, best to check faul...

I have been thinking this over for a while and after speaking to a work colleque that has relations in Canada I have found out they do exist....so Heated car covers A cover for the zed that will connect up via an extension lead that is waterproof and produces a low/gentle heat that will stop the car...

I went to chippeduk today and had the car dyno'd.

my modifications are:

m50 manifold conversion
BBTB kit
K57i induction kit (soon to be a "davef")
and the remap...

From my experience it could well be that the idle control valve needs a clean. I had the same problem with my 2.8 a few months ago and that was the problem. I know that by using the search function in the knowledge section is an article about how to clean it.
