That looks really nice.
Congrats on a fine purchase.

I agree with you Gary on having a car to just drive. I too drive my car all year round although in recent years I've had the luxury of car sharing with my wife. One week we're in my car and the next week in hers. I like to spend time keeping them clean though and I feel you get to know your ca...

It depends on the car's history/how it's been treated. too. The Integra above for example has a reputation for using a bit of oil. VTEC solenoids can leak, usual rocker cover gasket etc but mine was spot on. Same again with the MR2's. Notorious for leaks from the rocker cover gasket and sumps on old...

Thanks. Guy on the owners club was selling an Orange Mica UK car but he wanted near £2750 with over 150k miles on the clock. I paid £2650 for this Cosmos Blue with 72k on the clock and I'm only the 3rd owner with the 1st being Toyota and then the lady I bought it from who'd owned it since Sep '99. :...

My current car - Until the Z3 comes along!
Hi all, I recently joined up on here and being a Jap car fan I thought I'd post my previously owned car (The DC2 Integra) and my current steed - The MR2. The MR2 will be sold once I have funds for the Z3 3.0 Sport but in the meantime it'll get treated very nicely. This is my 6th MR2 and is totally o...

That's true ^^^ Geographical location plays a part too. Cars for sale in the Highlands of Scotland or in the Southwest - Cornwall, usuallysell for less because they need to tempt people from further afield and of course the less populous a location is the smaller the target audience will be. Having ...

Come next year my '99 MR2 mk2 Rev 5 will be going on the market for £2500. Half the price of my old Integra. A great buy in my opinion. :) Agree, that is a bargain! There's an absolute mint dark purple rev5 down the road from me, 100% stock, even the wheels and it's looks the business... A lot of m...

Club meets/events around Beds/Bucks/Herts?
Hi all,
New to the forum and just wondering if there are any members around Beds/Bucks/Herts and if so do you attend meets and where they are?

Having bought/sold cars recently I feel that certain sought after cars are still holding their price reasonably well. The last car I sold was my 1999 Honda Integra Type R with 57k FSH in red. It had fading red paint (Honda's fault) but other than that was totally mint. It fetched £5k although I firs...

300ZX TT's are great fun but are just big poweful cruisers to me. They're like handling a ship around the corners. The last shape RX-7's are probably (in my opinion) the prettiest cars ever made with perfect 50/50 weight distribution. It's the engine and severly poor economy that ever put me o...

I like the S2000 too but having owned an Integra Type-R (which I did absolutely love and think it's the best car I've ever owned) I wanted something a little more civilised that you don't have to redline to get it going/have fun. The 3.0 engine in the Z3 is very torquey which appeals to me a lot. I ...

Thanks Gary. I do like the MX-5's too but I wanted something with a little mor go. The Porsche Boxster S is a better all round/poised car than the Z3 in my opinion, however it is not as pretty, much more expensive and I do like the traditional layout of Front engine, rear wheel drive. With the hood ...

Welcome! I had a mate with an MR2 import once- it was the loudest car I've ever heard on the road in my life! Easily heard 2 miles away across town... Good luck searching, now's a good time to put a cheeky offer in on cars for sale as people need the money for Christmas  Mac lol...he must of ...

Being new on here and having assesed prices there is a huge difference in pricing on Z3 models. I appreciate dealers will always charge more money but some are way over the top. The BMW magazine mentioned in the Z3 section said that a nice 3.0 model an be had for approx £5k. My budget for April next...

Jap car fan going for a Z3
Hi, Took an age to finally be able to post on here waiting for authorisation.... I'm Steve and I live in Dunstable, South Beds... I'm a long time Jap car fan but fancy something different so in April next year (not that far away really), I plan to sell my current Toyota MR2 and buy a BMW Z3. ...
