I've gone hard!

I took advantage of the good weather today and put the hard top on for the summer.

It seems a good fit but I will wash it tomorrow and look for leaks and post some pics.

I've just renewed the Z insurance with Hasting but instead of going down the Meerkat route and selling on Ebay I went through Quidco.

My quote was £229.40 and I will get £42.50 back through Quidco giving me a final price of £186.90

Is this a record low?

I'm just starting the great insurance hunt again as mine is due on the 17th. My renewal quote for a 49 year old with a 2.8 with 6000 miles a year living in Macclesfiled with 13 years NCB was £472. Sorry to hear about the damage, there really are some bar stewards around.

If the insurance company do write it off and payy you £5k could you then buy it off them and either fix it yourself or sell it off in bits?

As Shantybeater said Autoglym is a great product. If you want to get the colour back try Renovo who also do refurb products.

Also its nice to have another member from Macc. We will have to get together to compare cars.
