Just checked the invoice for last years main dealer inspection 2 service.

Fuel filter part no 13321720102 fitted. Cost 20.68 inc VAT.

Also noticed the Diff oil was changed after all. Whatever went into the Diff it was £11.25 a litre

Latest situation re gearbox oil ... watch this space. Mr Smith, Interesting one this, for some reason the Z1 does use a different oil, the Mobil SHC630 is only available in 20ltr drums, as is the other matches I have found as it is generally a commercial gear oil. You guys are pretty observant ! Light grey leather / cloth interior was limited to only 50 black cars. The material is very hard wearing and not smooth like the yellow fabric which seems to wear pretty quickly. It also copies the camo pattern of the nubuck seats. The car certainly looks much better with a smaller front plate. The front plate on my Z1 is 380mm X 89mm and has never caused a problem at MOT time or with the police. Thanks for the feedback.

A plastic washing up sponge and scourer with WD40 seems to do the trick, but its a slow job. It would be easier, quicker and better for my back to dismantle the fan shroud and hoses and clean them on a workbench.
