Hi Folks - Another date for the diary I can strongly recommend for Dorset zedders is the Wessex classic car show at Lulworth Castle on Sun June 8th, Its a fabulous setting in a lovely part of the county to enjoy classic cars..(wessex z3 club anyone??)

As a generalisation regarding Z3 ownership, you are truly missing the point by equating the ownership experience into a pence per mile depreciation equation. Enjoy the look, feel, sight, sound and smell of owning a zed, park next to an MX5, and then remind yourself....

Hi There!
Just to add have been pleasantly surprised when using BMW main dealer on the last two times ive needed things - gearbox exhaust bracket was 3 or 4 quid and 12 quid for rear light internal covers. So maybe worth a look for your bits and bobs..

Thanks Brian, That all seems to make sense, day off for me tomorrow so thats the mornings entertainment taken care of - will see what I can glean from the knowledgebase in a bit and take it from there. Cheers Chaps, Definitely some handy hints to try out so thankyou to all respondees - is that a word?? the cylinder head gets very hot so will check the hoses and the thermostat, now I come to think of it when the car was last on the road the heater seemed very reluctant to emit any noticable heat so...
