The M sport suspension is an option: S704A - M Sport Suspension, this is not on all 3.0 as standard.

yes the carriers from the 2.8 bolt straight on, the piston size in the caliper is the same size as the 1.9 caliper so no issues with brake bias etc. I put high temp brake fluid in also :)

If you have Traction control, turn it off the the rears do not get as much abuse.

I found EBC blues to be durable Andy but the rears have not been passed for road use :wink: a good bite when cold and would stand up to some abuse. I did not get on with the ds2500, they just did not inspire confidence for me. I hear a lot of good press with EBC yellows but I could only get one trac...

Brian, Not sure what you are referring to - but once the mirror is removed and the plastic clams of the mirror assembly are removed, you have access to the two hex screws. The ///M top mounts need to be put in a certain direction as the have built in caster, normal top mounts can go in anyway as the hole for the shock is central on the unit.

but im guessing its been tried and tested as its a thread from USA, and Im guessing all cars got cruise over there. Thats some assumption that because its a thread from the states its OK! Just like us, Cruse control will have been an option at the time of manufacture. If you do this mod let us know...

HI Brian - I cant see any wire on the back of the handbrake - is this where this one is supposed to be? What is it for and where does it attache? Do the CDV removal first and give it a go, I don't think you will need to butcher your cabling after you have driven the car for a while.

The CDV is a physical adaptor that restricts the flow of clutch fluid, if you want to get rid of the symptoms it introduces you need to remove it.

I find the OEM mesh wind blocker great in the winter for this very reason, the bright lights do not fully penetrate the mesh.

The bonnet switch and the radio anti theft switch located behind the radio are culprits for this type of false alarm, I'd try the bonnet switch first though, the bonnet fails to push down the switch enough sometimes, a little spacer or screw on top of the switch will confirm.
