Why arenn't they relay controlled like they should be.... Mine burnt out with the full 30 amps or whatever essentially welding the whole switch inside together, then it was just blowing fuse after fuse all the time. Just replace the switch loom, and it will be fine..... I've said this before.... BMW...

Look, I have already replaced the diff, so ill check the driveshafts and work forwards.... It's a bit hard to check the propshaft without dismantling it, but Ill check out when I have the time. If it is the dual mass flywheel, can you replace it with a regular flywheel?...Im getting ahead of myself ...

Sorry to hear the diff hasn't cured all,i was the same with my zed 1st and 2nd being the 2 gears that caused the most problems.I could replicate the banging on the drive just by selecting 1st and lifting the clutch too bite. If you have back trouble, then my only recommendation is to get the M-sport interior (option seats) over the standard ones. The standard ones offer almost no lumbar support, and they don't hold you in very well either. There are far more facelifted models with these seats than pre-facelift. Thanks t...
