    Visual mods should improve a cars looks. :? These don't and they aren't BMW approved parts either.  Sorry, but I'm a purist and don't like mods of any kind :head: :head: unless they're BMW approved. Jokes over, fit the doors as BMW intended and place thos...

The exhausts don't mean anything, any Z1 can have a 4-pipe exhaust fitted. Similarly, anybody can fit Hartge alloys and an M badge. I would have thought that if it were a Hartge conversion it would have Hartge logos fitted. I also was not aware that the Hartge conversion used an M-engine, I was und...

Bought mine on July 2 this year. Like QED and Yella, I sat and stared out at it in the driveway when I first got it as well. Does anyone ever find themselves looking at the cars reflection in shop windows while they're sitting at traffic lights (like me) - or worse still while driving?? Zeds are gre...

I just mean that if when you drive the car there is judder from the clutch, esp. when in reverse, I would think the clutch suspect. That and that only. Most E36 experience clutch judder when the clutch gets VERY hot and first or second gear is engaged. This normally happens in town driving after the...

One BMW quirk which I forgot to mention earlier...

Watch out for clutch judder when you view the car - when cold and esp. when in reverse.

Best

I'm not sure, but I shouldn't think you'll have trouble putting these E36 wheels on the Zed--I have seen a few Zeds with E46 M3 alloys on! Maybe someone else in the forum could confirm this for us?

Nice car btw. Avus is gorg.

Having the rear window replaced is a bonus! :P I recently spoke to a BMW dealership here in the north re having this done to mine. £90 + £75 labour! :o As you asked, you can get roll over hoops retofitted. The brackets for roll hoops were installed on all Z3 from January 1997, so you won't have a pr...

it should only ever be brushed with a soft(ish) brush Hi :D This is all I use on my hood, a small handbrush - its surprising just how much 'dust' comes off  But make sure you brush it before you clean your Z'd though :P I vacuum the hood of my Zed at least once a week before I wash the car. ...

Thank you for the replies.

Kenny, I am interested in your "mint" tonneau cover--I already have a wind deflector and my mats are in top shape.

What price are you looking for the cover?

Tonneau cover

First off, great to be a member of this forum! It's taken me a few months to finally register - I did so a few weeks ago - but since then I've learned a lot about these great cars. Thank you! :D I am looking to get my hands on a tonneau cover for my 2000, Z3 2.0 which came without :( when I bought i...
