besicaly it is an animal skin so it is not going to be viscous when it is dried out and hot. I misread that as vicious. :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao: I sincerely hope your seats aren't vicious - the might bite you if you sit on them. As for the sticky seats - you could always upgrade to cloth ones ...

This is a safety feature to stop small children and dogs trapping their heads/necks in the window by standing on the window switch. If there is any resistance, the window will retract again. This caused me some grief when I first had the hardtop fitted. It was sorted by adjusting the hardop mounting...

Nothin' wrong with cloth seats. I think mine look great in terracotta and I don't get scorched thighs in shorts, or a cold bum in winter! :P I had my car professionally valetted a couple of months ago, and I couldn't believe the difference to the dash. Just one last thought why lock the car when you're washing the car !!!!!!!!! I'm paranoid someone might steal my Z!!! :bawl: It was normally a case of locking the car when I either go to pay for the jetwash or when I go to fetch a bucket from the house, and then forgetting that I've locked it. :dun...

Check under the car. I believe the Z3's spare hangs there. AFAIK on all the Z3's bar the ///M, there is a space saver spare in a plastic tray under the rear of the car. You lower it down from inside the boot via a handle in the center and a nut on the right (under the carpet). There is an extension...

Quite agree. Normally TG is quite funny and has a chat show side to it which is quite fun. 5G has Vicki Pain-in-the-Butt-ler-Henderson who annoys me profusely. TG's caravan thing was just plain daft, and it was painfully obvious that the bit with the two caravans on fire was filmed in a empty field ...

From memory, all BMW cars have a very long anti-corrosion warranty, but like all warranties it does not cover everything. The thumbnail picture in the wheel details is broken for me too. However the picture will be the same as the one I linked to, just smaller.

A common problem on old 3 series was the heater valve. They developed a rattle which was quite pronounced at certain engine revs. Extremely annoying!!! I suspect the reasoning behind this is that headlights have to have their beams adjusted to that they don't dazzle other drivers (using a target on a wall). Also in most BMs there is an adjuster to lower angle of the beam if you are carrying a load in the back. So your sidelights and dipped headligh...
