Unfortunately if water gets past the bitumen seal around where the roof is bonded to the body work, which it will do eventually do to age. Wanted - Boot Finger Pull
Hi Just prior to going on holiday I opened the boot in the usual manner via the small chrome boot pull. Slicing the end of my forefinger in the process, had to have four butterfly stitches. Still it is all healed now. Has anyone got for sale - Chrome Boot Pull. Do check yours for wear and tear chaps...

Er No ............................ It is still annoying the hell out of me. Use the windscreen washers to wet screen along bottom edge and it stops. So no change there then. I have never heard of anyone nicking a stick on number plate, as when you stick em, they is on.
A lot of my friends over on Phoenix Fives have them and they have never had any stolen .....

The only other leak I have is into the boot and that has been traced to the butyl seal so needs a new top at some point. Nothing major and now that I don't use her daily she is under a car cover when it rains. I had this and used "CAPTAIN TOLLEY CREEPING CRACK CURE" found on ebay............

If you can push it down from top, then reseal with a bitumen based paint.

It may be a case of having the tyre taken of the rim and cleaning the inner edge where the bead sits, then getting it put back on. Unless you are sure it is damage to the tyre via a nail or screw. BMW wheels did or do have the reputation of leaking air. This is normally down to a lack of care in fit...
