No idea what mpg I get from my humble little 2.0.

I just fill it up when it needs it.

Admittedly for the past couple of months rather than seeking out the cheapest bog-standard supermarket stuff, I've always used Tesco Momentum or V Power.

Local good garage is doing a deal of 2 shocks replacement for only 45 euros this week including alignment and tracking so someone else can get oiley and dirty for a change. Just waiting for the shocks to arrive today with DHL. That seems a good price. I've just had a quote from my local ATS Euromas...

As it is, you'll be lucky to get £4.5k for your car regardless as to what you think it is worth. The Loss Adjuster will assess the vehicle on it's current market value. You can find taht out yourself by using something like webuyanycar.com to get a rough trade price then adding 20 -25% uplift to rep...

I have the same problem, but it appears that some of the mobile alloy wheel refurbishers will do the set of four in one day thus removing the requirement for a second "slave" set of wheels.

If you are not mechanically minded, you might want to consider one of the high street fast fit companies like ATS Euromaster.

They will supply (although I'm not sure of what brand) and fit them for you. Whilst I haven't had them do my Zed, they have done my previous car at a very competitive price.

I'd been to the showground at Harrogate today. On the way back just after where the A1 joins the M62 at around 4.40ish I was overtaken by a silver Z4 with the reg ending in "UFO". I said to my wife "I think that is Maurice the Martian". She looked at me as if I'd lost my marbles....

Why should it matter what other people do with their own property? If they want to drive with the hood up, it's their business and no-one else's. I was in Manchester today and spotted this lovely Coupe near the Bridgewater Hall around lunchtime.

I'd seen this colour on adverts and pictures on the web, but in real life it is absolutely stunning.

It makes you wonder about the quality control of the garage that did the work. They must have had to move your car when it was with them, I assume by driving rather than pushing it. Either (a) they were aware of the warning lights when they did their final QC checks and chose to do nothing, not even...

I just got mine done. I took it to the local BMW dealer bodyshop (Williams Stockport) and they repainted the front bumper for £200 + VAT. They removed it from the car and did a superb job, none of the stone chips are visible behind the new paint. That is very tempting. Will ring my local dealer Blu...

Keep it cacooned away hoping that it would become an investment? You'd have to wait a long time to see a return on £18k.
