Before our water pump failed, the needle sat right on the middle of the gauge but since we had a new pump fitted, the needle stays a little below, not an issue.

I suspect the new battery is masking a problem and the techies will come along shortly and suggest why.Once the car had been started,it shouldn't have cut out, regardless of a flat battery.

£2.5K buys you a good 'un.I'd hang back and save the extra.150K is relatively high for a petrol engine though the z3 is known to do well in excess of 300k.We paid £2,650 for a 1997,1.9 with 66K on the clock, full service history and tons of receipts. The previous owner had paid £750 for a new soft-top...

60 mph is around the speed wheel balancing will cause a shudder but the shudder will stay for as long as you maintain that speed.Dark oil suggests it's burning oil.60k with full service history should mean there's not too much to worry about.Warranty should come the car?

Tesco don't manufacture oil, they simply allow their name to be used and,in turn, their reputation. They wouldn't risk that if the oil wasn't what it says on the tin and likely produced by one of the big names. As long as it's fully synthetic, there won't be a problem.
