Yes, its been a lovely day here in West Yorkshire. Just got her out this afternoon for blast up the A168, called at a hotel for a coffee, to give a warm through and keep the cogs turning.

Due to sticking front calipers I am considering rebuilding them. Looking on ebay Budweg do a kit including new pistons and seals etc for both sides for £62.95.
Anyone had experience of these or can recommend a better one?

I took the Z3 out for what is probably it's last run before putting away for the winter this afternoon and after about 20 miles the orange triangular warning light came on on the dash. Yes you need to take the door card off and it is mounted on the door lock mechanism behind the handle. If you search on ebay you may see the complete door lock and actuator assembly as sold by scrap yards. You can either replace the whole lot or remove the actuator and retain your original lock mech...

If its not the wiring loom it could be the actuator solenoid. Mine started in exactly the same way. I fixed it with a second hand solenoid and have had no more trouble. The other side has now started to do the same so I have bought another one ready to (hopefully) fix that too. Seems to be quite a c...

Bonzo, I can confirm the door card can be removed with the door shut. Exactly the same thing happened to mine and I was able to pull the door card from the bottom and managed to get it off. I then was able to release the door lock mechanism by fiddling about with the latch where the door plunger rod...
