Greygate plastic polish for rear window
Just used this: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GREYGATE-PLASTIC-POLISH-100ml-EXCELLENT-ACRYLICS-/110730509273?pt=UK_Collectables_Vintage_RL&hash=item19c80d7bd9 To remove the marks on my rear window at it was great! I can now see through the rear window, and only took 20 minutes. Did remove the fold m...

Ferodo are really good pads, and the guys with GTOs I used to hang out with found that EBC disks and Ferodo pads were the best combo. Never tried EBC pads, but I have some Brembo Max disks on mine that feel good. They are twice the price of standard disks, but stop the brake fade when hot. I would s...

License to print money. And to be honest, you are covered for very little, and your premium will go up if you have an accident regardless of how's fault it is. I used Sky Insurance with the GTO, but changed to More Than as they were cheaper. Sky are still worth it as they deal with sports cars, like...

Getting the car off all four wheels
I have looked underneath, but not sure how to jack the whole front and rear of the car to get it on axle stands. Ideally, I would use the jacking points on the sills, but really want to use those for the stands.

Wanted: OEM rear springs for 2.8.
Just standard ones in good nick. Mine can be compressed by hand in the mounts
I have several sets of fronts now (thanks to a couple of members.), just need some rear springs.

Brembo Max disks
So, I fitted these 105 miles ago, and have to say I am impressed. I installed them with a new set of ATE pads I had lying around, and they are great. Good solid breaking, and no sign of fade. Also, unlike race style disks (Red Dot and Tarox I have used before), they grip from the minute you drive aw...

Don't care the colour (doubt I would find a Palmeto Green one), just broken mine, so need a cheaper replacement before I try all the usual breakers.
Got one from BMW. £172 for the whole thing without the glass.

Front tyre wear on 18" wheels
I have a set of 18" wheels with 225/40/18 tyres on them on the front. The inside edge of the tyres are both worn down, and there are marks on the body work behind the spring. I guessed that the tyres are touching the inside of the arch, but should this happen? To be clear, this is not the top o...

FS: Boot carpets from a roadster with CD player
I have the boot carpet, and the side panels that cover the boot in grey. They are generally good, and I will give them a clean before I sell.

FS: Roll hoops for non-roll hoop cars
I have for sale a pair of chrome roll hoops for cars without the inner roll hoop supports. They look good (see below), and I am selling them with the upper turrets that are normally for roll hoop cars so they can be secured. Here are some pics of them fitted to my car: http://i3.photobucket.com/albu...
