Re: Philips
Yes - still running the Philips Blue Vision bulbs I fitted nearly six years ago. No problems and excellent lights, but as with all modern cars, they could do with more range on main beam. The main thing that puts me off these is the blue reference. I see the ones marketed now claim to contain even ...

Whiter & Brighter Bulbs......advice please
I've spent the last couple of hours trawling these boards in search of info. I am considering upgrading the dip, main, front-fog, & front side/park/position bulbs. I respect the choices of folk who have retro-fitted complete HID/Xenon systems, (for reasonable money), with seperate ballasts, howe...

Personally if you only have 1 yrs NCD I wouldn't go for a 3.0i unless you crave the power benefits over lesser HP Z3's or can easily justify the premium cost. Re insurance - Depending on age of car a modern classic policy can reduce costs but you wont build NCD. Re non classic policies - Some insura...

I'd plug in a Peake fault Code reader in to get some idea or pay an indy to check it over. Obviously if doing the later the seller will know the true extent of likely faulsts which could work against your negiotiation. If buying without getting it diagnostically checked ideally haggle for worst case...
