Re: Lights behind heater controls

Hi, don't bother trying to pry off those screw caps cause you might scratch your trim, just jab them with the pointed screwdriver and screw the screws out, then remove the caps. You can re-use the caps or just chuck them out. Southernboy replaced his screws with some hex-head screws which he says lo...

In Tasmania we have no stickers anywhere. You pay your registration and drive off. The trouble comes when you borrow a friends car and it is out of registration - you can get done by the police as it is the driver's responsibility to make sure a car is registered. Bottom line, try not to borrow anyo...

Remove Oil Pan huge job?

I have a very small oil leak and I suspect it is from the oil pan, but will try to confirm yet again - it gets a bit messy under there! I thought it was power steering fluid at first and tidied all that up [was leaking under the reservoir], wasn't a hard job at all. Has anyone removed their oil pan ...

Thumbs up for all that was said above. Also, once the tyres get old and hard the car is susceptible to what we call 'tramlining'. You can read all sorts of posts about this. Generally, unless something is obviously wrong with the suspension a change of tyres will cure the problem and she'll drive li...

Oil and other fluid changes for my car will be manually scheduled.
I have not had to do an oil change for mine yet but I will do it in another 5k.
When the green lights go down I use a coat hanger [reset] to make sure they all appear again so the car stays 'in tune' and runs like a new one! :)
