Does your mirror consist of a front and rear sensor? Make sure the front sensor is still connected to the main PCB, and if that has an additional earthing (brown) wire, make sure that is still connected. Without pictures I'm not much help I'm afraid, as I didn't use the same mirror as you. Hope some...

Easiest way to get a phone unlocked is to contact the network provider that the phone is locked to. If you've had the phone for a decent amount of time, they will often unlock the phone for you, free of charge.

You are correct, my seats are pre-facelift seats, and my car is a facelift Z3 (1.9 M43). I'm not entirely sure what purpose the 3rd cable serves on the seats. I haven't had to worry about these though, as it routes down to the seat motors and adjustment switches, and is all connected up via the OEM ...

I'm in the exact same predicament as you Ian, so I will be keeping an eye on this thread. The white/red wire (driver's side) (white/yellow - passenger side) leading from the car supplies the power, whilst the brown is an earthed connection. Its under the front of the centre console, where all the wiring for the heated seats, clock, cig lighter, AC are located. I've ruled out all of these options stated.
I dont' have the OBC clock, could it possibly be for this?

I think they do blend better with your chrome angel eyes, and the 'top heavy' chrome isn't the issue for me... It's the curved vertical lines of the grilles that I think sit awkwardly IMO.
