windshield wiper tank

Took a drive, heard a thud and pulled over to find my windshield wiper tank had broken off from its platic bracket. :head: Upon closer inspection it became apparent that it had broke before and the Zed's previous owner attempted to reattach it with epoxie glue. As far as I can tell Real OEM does not...

I particularly notice a satisfying difference in engine sound in my 3.0 after a good .5 hour of driving as the engine warms and the exhaust expressess itself with revs above 4.5rpms! Thats when the 3.0 sonically stands out in the motorway crowd. :geek:

Dashboard: Anyone have this problem before?

I test drove 6 Z3's before I bought my 3.0i back in May of this year. All of them had varying degrees of dashboard problems associated with shriveling plastic or leatherette on the airbag, side airvents, and driver's side control panel. Apparently a common problem. :head: Obviously a manufacturing d...

Ozzie M52 update and long drive

Dear List, Well as it turned out the 2.8 did have the m52 Nikasil engine (i.e. pre-Sept. 1998) and therefore its aluminum lining would have partially deteriorated due to high levels of sulfur in Australian fuel in the late 1990's. Therefore I have no choice but to spend more money and buy the 3.0i w...
