Just installed meyle hd rear top mounts and soften the rear shocks which they are still in very good shape. Car feels very different now, feels like new. i called BMW it' part number 07 14 9 141 517 only available only in Germany, Greece is out of stock but they are common screws they said i can visit a tool shop and give them a sample to buy the correct screws. The front bar of the roof is metal. I don't think it's a part in its own right, just the coating of the front part of the frame. As I said, I peeled off the damaged coating, rubbed it down and painted it with the paint in my previous post, and it looks identical. i wish i could do it, it's just i really suck in painting things.. perh...

Oh I see now. They aren't separate parts, that's an early car that had the mountings accessible from the front and hidden under two plastic bungs. It's still a one piece clip. No, if you look closer on the last pic (it is hard i know but it is the only pic i could find), you will see 2 plastic clip covers, up and bottom of the outside part of the driver.
