Ormesome I agree with the above, I too have a 1.9 and recently had this very same problem. It turned out to be my thermostat, it had stuck open. The needle of your temp guage should sit in the middle of the guage right through the green temp chart below. An easy fix and not too expensive. If you go ...

Hi Monkey22 I retrofitted heated seats into my 1.9 1998. It was pretty straight forward. Parts you will need are as follows: - Seats with the heater element in them x 2 (NOTE: the elements can be installed to existing seats but this is a pig of a job) Heated seat switches x 2 Underloader relay x 1 (...

I wondered what this was myself, I just copied this of the internet. The cyclone valve/oil separator is a device which is used to take crankcase vapors and run them through this valve using the cyclone method to throw the oil outward allowing it to drain down back into the pan. It also uses a rubber...

I had to contact customer services to ge...

There are three screws to remove the side trim, one at the front, one at the tilt handle and one at the rear. There is also a plastic fixing which is located underneath. The motor for the horizontal seat adjustment is situated at the front of the seat. There are 2no: black plastic tubes coming of of hte sides of the motor which cover the drive shafts. You can change this motor without having to remove the seat although it will be a little tricky. The motor is held i...

Kopite Having recently had my seats apart changed the bushes to stop them rocking, I noticed that the following might be a solution. Here are a couple of pics of the speakers removed. You can see that there is a lock ring that screws onto the speaker to hold in place, As Robert T suggests you will need to remove some trim to get to the lock ring behind. Hope this helps http://i685.photobucket.com/albums/vv218/Ardchyle/2010_012300...

I changed my seats last year (along with the rest of the interior )and I can say that this transformed the whole feel of the car for me. I would definitely recommend the change over.

Seats should be a straight swap provided they came from a pre-facelift car. If they are post-facelift then the wiring may need to be adapted - can't remember whether it is the airbag/pretensioner or the seat heating that had a different connector. There are a few threads on here on the subject whic...
