ZMAS 2011 - Saturday 3rd December

Post by trackdaywidow »

Early to be thinking about Zmas parties but I wanted to get this organised and booked asap. I have chosen a new venue for this years gathering which I am sure will do us proud. I have also decided to hold it on the first Saturday in December as many of you will probably have company parties that you will also want to attend. Also holding the party early ensures a good start to a month full of festivities :thumbr

So, here are the details you will need:

Saturday 3rd December 2011
Venue: The Bull Hotel, Oxford Road, Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire SL9 7PA Tel: 01753 885995
http://www.sarova.com/bull/

Party price per person is £40 which includes a pre-selected 3 course dinner, tea/coffee and mince pies and 2 glasses of house wine, novelties, hats and crackers, DJ and disco. Bar is licensed until 1am.

Negotiated room rate of £70 per double and £60 per single inclusive of VAT and breakfast. If, as a group, we book 10 rooms or more that rate will be reduced further to £65 double and £55 single.

If you wish to attend the hotel will need a £10 per person non refundable deposit which I will collect from you on their behalf. If you require accommodation please book direct with the hotel using reference ZED03121.

Let me know if you want to attend and I will pm details of how to pay deposit. Pre-selection of menu can happen nearer the time but I do have a copy if anyone wishes to see it.

Looking forward to another great Zmas party ............... and this year we will not be sitting in high chairs :bounce

Excellent !! You know it will be worth the drive. Are you lot having a competition to see who can travel the furthest to a Christmas party? Let's see if anyone can beat your drive from Dorset .... oh, I think they have. Steve & Elaine coming down from Scotland !!!!! I wonder if Koen will make it over from Belgium ?? :squeeze:

Celebreties

Good of Alfie and Di to attend, we don't usually get TV celebreties (sp).

Can't wait to get their autographs and pictures taken with them.

Sorry, nag time ......
If you haven't sent your £10 per head deposit could you please do so asap as I need to complete and sign the revised contract for our final numbers with the venue.
Please ensure that if you want to stay at the hotel that you have secured your booking.
I will be sending out menu selection requests, time of dinner and secret santa details next week, so look out for those and if you could reply straight away that would make my job much easier :)
Any questions ahead of time drop me a line.

Paid a visit to The Bull today for a sneaky coffee as we were in the area. Previous Santas' will be pleased to know they do Stella on draught

I intend to send everyone attending an email tomorrow (Monday) with menu selections, secret santa, dress code, payment of balance etc. However I have been distracted by an advert in our local paper advertising a sale at our best (and only) decent boutique in town  (Michael Bailey do not let me down !!)

message for Jay

Post by trackdaywidow »

This is a message for JAY.
I have sent PMs, FB mesages and left telephone messages twice.
There is still a place being held for you for the Zmas 2011 party but unless I hear from you by end of Thursday 27th October I will have to release the space back to the venue.
