Part of the Fathers Day Harewood Vintage and Classic Vehicle Rally.

This will be the venue for 2012 BMW Car Club North East Region 'Concours of the North'.

We have booked a huge 150 car stand and would like to invite you all to come along and join us.
You don't need to be showing your car in the concours to come and park your BMW on our stand.. and it's a much cheaper way of enjoying the show - tickets are £5 per car full, payable on the day to Andymac, Kelly or myself - we have bought 150 showfield and grounds passes and will give them out on the day, first come first served.

We are on the same plot as we were last year with it's own 'all day' access via Church Lane which runs from the main A61 all the way down the back of the showfield directly to our stand. (you may have seen some of the showcars using this entrance in previous years). There is no need to pre pay or pre book and don't go paying on the gate like all the other visitors. Use our dedicated entrance and buy your ticket on the BMW Car Club stand.

This is a fantastic day out and one not to be missed, so pack up that picnic hamper and come to Harewood House near Leeds on Fathers Day and see some of the finest BMW's in the land battling it out for the silverware.

Showcars - no need to book, just try and make sure you are on site and set up for 9.30 am

Everyone welcome - park your BMW on our stand in the showfield
Only £5 per car (if you park in the public area you will pay £10 per person!)
You don't need to be showing in the concours to join us
Don't pay Harewood (we have already paid for the tickets) pay us on the stand
Don't use the main public entrance - use the showcar entrance on Church Lane
Non member BMW's are very welcome to join us

Have been to this event a few times before zed came along, it really is a great day out
with lots going on.I will certainly try to go again this year,tried to look how to get the zed

Have not been to a meet in such a long time due to work, study and new home. Is anyone going? a meet could happen at the usual ferrybridge etc.

daughter is due to have a baby anytime!! This means the gaffer will be
busy Maybe I could sneak away and not be missed

Went to this show last year and had a great day out something for everyone

I'm planning to go again this year. It's a great day out with plenty of automotive exotica to admire

Seems like a good bit of interest here.
If you manage to all meet up somewhere before you get to Harewood and then all arrive at the same time
it will be much easier for me to get you all parked together

It's a shame that it is next weekend, otherwise I might have come along to this, what with there being no CITP at Harewood this year. I have already bought tickets for the Cholmondeley Pageant of Power, so I will be spending the weekend there with the frog. Saturday is also Gawsworth classic car show. Why oh why do they all have to be the same weekend!

Well spotted, I hadn't seen that

Ok then, how does meet up at 8.30ish and depart at 9am sound? Google maps is showing a 32 minute drive from Ferrybridge to Harewood - I'm sure we can shave a couple of minutes off that

Sounds good although have to play it by ear as our lass is working and not sure she can quite get back in time to allow me to meet up at ferrybridge may end up going straight to Harewood so don't hang around for me guys.

Just catching up with this so it's now meet at Ferrybridge from 08:30 ready to depart by 09:00.

Aceman: if you're tight for time just ring and we'll sort something out.

Glastonbury, sorry Cholmondeley, is still on at the moment. It's going to be fun in a car where the "weather gear" consists of windows!

Shame about the Harewood event, but if it is rescheduled, then I might actually be able to make it.

Thanks for the post - unfortunate but perhaps not that unexpected as presumably the motorcycle stunt team would find wet grass a bit challenging

Just been informed by the Harewood House events team that the show has been cancelled due to bad weather.

It will be rescheduled for later in the year

Thats all I know for now - keep an eye on the Harewood website for news
