I got one of those kits in the aluminium style.

I was never truly happy with it. I only fitted certain parts otherwise it would look very overkill. I'm in the process (this weekend) of removing it and sourcing an alternative better quality and look product.

Any pictures Adam? The standard black plastic is pretty boring.

Thank you. What are you replacing it with just out of curiosity?

This morning I have just recieved a different kit from a seller on ebay. I will have to offer it up on the car to see what its like but initially i'm not sure. Now starting to prefer the original silver one as above.

Definately adding the chrome rings around the heater dials and electric window button chrome surrounds make a world of difference and I would suggest that first.

I will get some pics this evening. The car is tucked away at home and i'm on the bike in the week for commuting.

As promised. 3 pictures.

The more I look at the other kit that arrived today the better this one looks.

Lucky I still had the camera about :D

The kit is one of these in brushed aluminium:

Despite saying its from the UK it is infact sent from American Dash Trim, Brooklyn, NY, USA. I got a bill for £16.38 customs duty but the seller paid that back to me when I sent him a copy of the invoice.

Its not WOW enough to justify me changing. The original kit was just a thin sticker to be honest. This kit is thicker, 3M backing, Has a gloss finish over the top of it. I would say it sits about 2-3mm thick. It didnt "click" for me when I offered some parts up on the dash but it might be to someones liking.

I would let it go for £70 including postage. I can send stuff on the works next day courier account (citylink) :D :D

Hi Adam

I've seen these items before on ebay but I was wondering do you have to remove the dash :bawl: to apply the sticker, or can you apply the stickers while the dash is still in place. :D

Thanks

No need to remove any parts of the dash. They simply stick on with the dash in place.
