I have bought a dashcam for the front of my Z3 convertible. Now I could have bought one with a second rear facing camera, but to be honest I did not like the spec of any I could find.
The biggest problem is; where to mount the rear facing camera so it has a good view? The rear window is not huge so a rear facing camera mounted on the windscreen is not going to show much. I really want one to show the registration of the tailgaters that I seem to be plagued by. I may have to modify one of the tail lights to put a bullet camera in.
That's the only problem with a Z3, they seem to be magnets for every small penis- big ego driver on the road who feels that they simply have to demonstrate how much faster they can go in their shopping trolley/crew-cab pickup/truck or whatever.

A bumper sticker " Smile, you're on camera" should get the message through...Alternative is to fit one in the bumper perhaps??.....

Looks good, where did you put the rear facing camera?
Re: Rear facing Dashcam
On my perspex wind deflector.
You could attach it to one of your roll hoops. If you did, you would need to make a flat surface to mount it to, or to secure it with tie-wraps.
