Car looks great

The rear window "fraying" ie cloth roof coming away from rear screen is pretty common. Caused by Rear window gripper losing its grip over time. Can usually be fixed with some black silicon (ie its not actually frayed just come out of the window gripper under tension of roof being closed).

A proper fix is to fit a new rear window which includes a new gripper.

Not sure about the wing mirror though, if its such an easy fix why haven't you done it? but as you say if reflected in price it is a DIY (but I would not say easy, have you ever tried getting a mirror off, its a bit of a head banger :head: )

Wheels look good but desperately need some rear spacers on a wide bodied 2.8 as the 3 series offsets are too high IMHO

Good luck with the sale though :thumb:

Thank you, the wing mirror is £161 for the internals and mounting base from BMW, I decided to wait for one to come up on either Ebay or the breakers which is a much better and cheaper option hence not repairing it already. With regard to removing the mirror they are very easy, you just have to be careful when removing the glass then its straight forward from there. Spacers do make the rear wheels sit nicer but I am not a 'fan' of them they can cause other issues. Again with the rear window I didnt know that about the seal but I have adjusted these MINOR faults in the very realistic asking price, the rest of the car compensates for the that. Thanks again
