I know it's the wrong time of year but due to a change in circumstances I am really sad to say my Zeddy has to go.
It's a 1.9 140bhp '98 Montreal blue model (leather seats and electric roof) with 75k on the clock. M.O.T until april next year
Service history
AC Scnitzer upgrade on front and back
I've only done about 1500 miles in it this year.
Had a new exhaust fit and has 18" new model BMW 5 series M wheels on it.
Also has the tonneau cover and a wind deflector that I haven't had time to fit included
Also had a new rear BMW window fit in may
£2250ono

They didn't up until a few months back. Now I believe they do. However, it's a smaller charge compared to Autotrader which seems to charge through the roof now...
Pistonheads website generally attracts more motoring enthusiasts whereas Autotrader covers all of course and a lot of Petrol heads (like myself) begin a search on Pistonheads.
I have sold my last two cars on Pistonheads without it costing me anything....luckily.

My Toyota MR2 is up for sale £2650 ovno Pics/details available
I had my ST220 advertised on Ebay, pistonheads and Autotrader for 2 weeks before it sold. I got 2 emails via pistonheads offering a swap, nothing from the autotrader ad and 2 phone calls from the Ebay ad. It was the Ebay ad that shifted it.
Very disappointed with Autotrader considering the cost.

Z3 3.0, Ford ST220, Jaguar XK8, Mr2 GT Turbo, Fiat Bravo HGT, Cavalier, Astra convertible, MK1 Astra GTE, XR3i, E21 323i, XR3, Cavalier, VW Jetta, Rover SDi, Capri 2.0S, Audi 80 GTE, another Cavalier, brown Astra van, Citroen GS Club (we all had to start somewhere).
Autotrader has seriously gone down hill IMO.
That said it's fine for selling cars under £1000.
What kind of commission does the ebay add take from the sale?
I've not used the ebay method before so am not sure but if it's easy to do then it'll possibly help this seller out and me in the future.

sold my van on ebay -classified add.you pay about 15 quid for the advert and thats it.no final value fees etc like you would pay on a normal listing like a dvd etc.otherwise it would be very expensive given the amounts involved. sold my z3 a month ago using just piston heads.£10 for the advert and car gone and cash in hand 5 days after i put the advert on.happy days!
