Re: wtd: offical bmw z3 stubby aerial antenna
I'd be careful buying one off eBay as my stubby aerial only works when the car is on the drive...soon as I set off it loses signal. I only bought it as I thought the short one would be less tempting for some numpty to snap off as they walk past. If anyone knows of a stubby one that works OK with the BMW Business radio, then please let me know.

That's the exact reason i wanted to replace the larger, standard aerial. It's more cosmetic for me, i wont be using the radio too much, but it would be nice if it worked!OldskoolRS wrote:I'd be careful buying one off eBay as my stubby aerial only works when the car is on the drive...soon as I set off it loses signal. I got mine from Ebay, it was for a Honda S2000 and fits perfectly.
Used the same aerial with three headunits without problem

You can buy it from BMW Direct on Amazon, but I think it was £20 or so.

I'll check out eBay for a Honda S2000 one and i saw that one from Amazon but i really cannot justify spending £20 on an aerial i wont use much, i'd like to stay OEM if poss and i was hoping i'd get one pre-owned for cheaper than retail
