Looks interesting - have you fitted the same to your 1.9 - brackets/hangers look different?

A guy on eBay had the Cobra exhaust fitted to a 1998,1.9 Z3,M44 for approx 200 miles but didn't like the louder sound and took it off.Like you,I was a little concerned about the hangers so I went onto the Cobra web-site and checked it was the correct exhaust for our car. When I got the exhaust, I laid it out under the car and it looks fine.I haven't fitted it because 1). There's still some life in the old exhaust and 2). I was going to get it fitted when I put the car in for its' MOT in June cos I know the rear brake pipes need replacing so get it all done then. Cobra Z3 exhaust came with a receipt showing guy paid £375 including fitting and I paid £110 plus £20 delivery.i'm delighted.

Thanks for that info - geminimustang ,
Back Box won't last much longer on ours and MOT is due April. Have put it on watchlist - current bid is £51 with 3 and a bit days to go. We are not too far away from each other so I'll `listen' out for you once you have fitted it! Cheers.

We live on the Heswall/Pensby border and my Son often drives the zed to Whitchurch so you may see our car around. The exhaust I bought came with new rubber hangers and bolts and springs to connect to front pipe. Can't see these on the one now listed so my thoughts are it's worth around £100 delivered.IMHO, that's reasonable to both buyer and seller.Good Luck.If you get thro' MOT without changing exhaust but haven't bought one, let me know.If we take our old one off and it's still got some life, you can have it FOC.It'll only be a stopgap as it's old but the offer is there assuming it doesn't start blowing meanwhile!!!!

Thanks for offers - ironically we are setting off down the Whitchurch Road shortly. If you ever see R4 RED - yes it is a red Zed - then that's us. Cheers.
