..... considering the model, the colour, the service / ownership history and the mileage, I would say it's a fair price. Only a pity the selling agent doesn't quite know how to fit the tonneau cover correctly... :dunce:

personally I think its a very fair price for that miles, and an s54!, ive read somewhere they reckon there's only 50 s54 roadsters left, you find me another car that's sooo pretty, is as quick, and reliable, as nice to drive and so rare that you could get for that money!!..., in fact its not just fair!..., cheap if you ask me!! And I don't feel this way because I have one....., I have one because I feel this way!!!

Okay, okay, I'm trying to keep calm, but...

THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT FIND.....

As we know, there are just FOUR RHD Imola S54s, three of which have been regulars on this forum over the years: RED, Jonttt and Charlotte.
There has always been one very elusive example that has never been seen or heard of.... and it looks like this is it!

THIS IS THE MISSING IMOLA LINK...!

Yep, they're definitely the wrong colour rims, and this car was born with a black roof, so someone's made the excellent decision to upgrade to a Classic Red one, but apart from that.... SHE LOOKS ORIGINAL AND PERFECT!

Someone from this forum HAS to buy this incredibly rare and important car....
PLEEEEEEZE....!

Wow.

I really hate to say this, but if she is in as good condition as she looks on the photos, she's almost too good to drive. :( A collector's item for sure.

If I had a spare £14k I would buy that and crate it as that is going to be worth a few quid in a few years. I would expect that to be original condition with that low mileage tho right ?

It will either be 64118 or 64134, whichever Charlotte isn't.
I think this one will be 64134, or in other words, the last S54 Z3M ever made....

That's 64034 production date Aug 01 first registered March 02.
Another great find!
That mileage is incredible.

Previously owned by Ultimans (or Ultiman) of Canterbury who registered on here twice (2005 and 2010) but was never an active poster.

:nerd: :nerd: :nerd:

And it looks as if the (asking) prices for S54 ///MRs are actually starting to appreciate for good examples.
Nice.

and so they should!!..., and not just for s54's, s50's are for nothing for such an epic car IMO!!..., the price they fetch when compared to the zm coupes is crazy!, having driven both theres very little difference! (except one can take the roof down in the sunshine!!)

Had a quick look just now at the original ad on auto trader and I see that of the four M Roadsters for sale on there currently, THREE of them are 2002 s54 versions!

And I thought my car was supposed to be rare!!! :)

Wow, thanks for the messages Z3 and Alfie,

I've had a great family day today and logging onto here before calling it a day has put the icing on the cake !

Great to see the 4th imola is alive and looking so well. Looks to be totally original apart from the new roof and refurbed alloys.

Slightly higher mileage than mine but at a nice point ie not too low that you can't put some on without affecting value. Hopefully will go to an enthusiast, best vfm performance car on the market IMHO, will only go up in value as it's one of the rarest BMWs you can buy :D

I hope the new owner makes it on here, would be great to know where it's been all these years :?:

Got an excellent idea !
If a simple calculation is done then this will work
Divide the £13,995 by the total number of members on here and you all pay your bit and buy it for me for my birthday !!

Bargain compared to those other two.

I've spoken to John the garage owner a couple times so I thought I've give anyone interested an update:
As previously stated it is 64314 on the vin so the last one.
It's had two previous owners from new and was traded as px for some flashy number at a main dealer from where John has got it from. It was obviously full BMW service history as stated in the ad. He got it with the red roof but he's had the wheels refurbed at a specialist place in Manchester as they were slightly pitted and let the rest of the car down.
It went on sale on Saturday and in his 30yrs of trading he has never had as many hits on the auto trader for any vehicle he's sold previously. The phone didn't stop ringing all weekend.
It was bought this morning by a retired couple from the Derbyshire area who were waiting for him to open this morning. Apparently he likes to renovate old alfa's (so sounds like a nice home).
John showed them this thread so hopefully they may be along at some point (but didn't get the impression he was big on the Internet so not sure).

If the new owner does see this thread it's well worth reading / downloading the database of each car from here.....

Yeah, thanks for doing the investigative journalist bit ('_')Z3.

I can't believe the main dealer didn't sell it on themselves. :puzzle:
You would've thought it would take pride of place in their showroom.

And years ago I heard a rumour that this car once lived on the Isle of Man.
I'd like to know if that was ever true.

The new owner is indeed a very lucky person.
If he didn't realise how important that car is to the Zed community when he bought it, he soon will....!

Good luck 'retired couple from the Derbyshire area'....hope you visit here soon.

Cheers.

Great to see the prices holding up so well despite the fact that I have absolutely no intention of selling Charlotte!

Unfortunate about the colour of the rims, however I suppose I am not qualified to comment having Schnitzers fitted.

If the new owner shows up on here, I would definitely make the effort to get oop North with Charlotte to get the Fantastic Four Reds together for some snaps and a hoon. Right after I have the wheels re-refurbished and paintwork refreshed of course!

Regards to you all.

Hey Daz.... :)

Not seen you round here for a while.
Sounds like Charlotte is still in good shape which is great to hear.

Yeah, the 4 Imola sisters NEED a reunion....!
RED and Jonttt met up at Silverstone last year, but we didn't manage to get any pics.

Having spent many crazy miles hooning around behind Spokey's Z1, I can guarantee that RED will have the most battle scars of all 4...
So please don't worry too much about the paint refresh.... I'm sure that 'Missing Link' and 'Jonttt' will do enough sparkling for all of us! 8-)

Cheers.
