Mud flaps are defo NLA,
I've been lucky enough to obtain some new fronts last year, but the rears....well, I've been looking for nearly 2 years now.

I bought some generic moulded rears from Halfrauds, they're quite a good fit but not good enough IMO.

Generally Z3 used parts on fleabay are fetching silly money....most annoying

Halford ones are great on the front.

I have an element of 'M-styling' on my car, If that's a good enough reason for the manufacturers to adorn a 320 with the M badge, then its certainly a good enough reason for me..

Thanks David!

I have found something like this -

Image

The fronts look identical to harolds ones. The rear... idk I think I will buy them and try.
The bad part is thay are made of rubber instead of ABS like OEM ones...

this set = 8£

Does it remind you of something?

And "replicas" of the front - made of abs... Image

Oem ones for comparision borrowed from bimmerforums - Image

Cool, We have a very low mileage Trabant in mint condition down the farm complete with it's military version the Kubel (probably spelt incorrectly) with original radio and Kalashnikov AK 47. Always causes a stir down the petrol station when putting the dipstick in the petrol tank to see whats left and then adding oil! :D Your estate is pretty rare. Only 5 moving parts in the engine, can't beat simplicity.

Aye, lol. I was tickled when i found the fuel gauge.
His boss has one of the topless military ones, no doors, just ropes across the door openings to hang on to, a very basic car but great fun, what a machine!
I believe they don't sup much motion lotion either.

I helped him replace the clutch plate and piston, I cant believe we had all the engine out, replaced said items and then back in running again in just over an hour.

PS: not my estate, i wish it was

sorry sviru for what appears to be a thread hijack :-D

Hi All, After following this thread I duly trotted off and bought the last set in the Lichfield Halfords store. I can vouch for the accuracy of fit and apart from lacking the little groove that lines up with the sill to wing join I think you would be hard pushed to tell the difference from the OEM ones. I was at first a little put off by the distorted appearance of them having removed the packaging, however stick 'em on a radiator and they soon supple up. It is just a case of carefully trimming off the lower portion to the stepped ridge so ending up with a shorter flap (as presumably they are designed to be done to them). Offering them up and they fit as close to perfect as you'll get. Not actually drilled the holes in the inner wing liner as yet (too cold) but I think in order to keep the side of the flap at the top as close to the paintwork of the wing as possible it would be an idea to put stainless washers as a spacer between the mounting flange and wing liner otherwise it looks as though it may make the flap side pull outwards slightly away from the wing. Buy a set, you'll not regret it!!

When I fitted the BMW ones to our 5 series there was some double sided tape to fix the edge of the mudflap to the wing itself to stop any muck/water getting there and causing corrosion., might be worth doing this to the ones you have.

Hello Brian, yes that did cross my mind but thought it may be nicer to have the ability to remove them with ease periodically.
