2.0l cam cover

Post by swappy »

Hi i recently purchased a 1999 2.0l straight six a little tatty round the edges but mechanically sound just one thing engine wise thats bugging me, the plastic cam cover has four bolts holding it on these are covered by plastic caps, the rear two are missing. Can anyone help or have i got to go to a dealer and pay extortionate prices for bits of plastic.
Thanks in advance. ps love the car the straight six sounds awesome

I assume that you have looked on EBay?

I needed a couple last year and paid £3.00 for two from a BMW breaker.

Yep looked on ebay and found a couple of complete covers but that means i'd be stuck with the main bits which i don't need, might bite the bullet and see how much the bmw dealers want
