ipod connection for 03 plate Mini

Post by G2JRP »

Hi,

I have posted this on the BMW onwers club, but didn't know if anybody on her might help?

My mum has an 03 plate mini cooper with radio boost and wants to attach her ipod, Is there a lead I can buy her?

Any help/ advise most grateful.

Regards

JP.

Do you mean the AUX connection. If so have a look at this thread on Z4 forum. I just bought and fitted one for my Z4 from BMW.
From reading through the thread, Mini and BMW use the same part. It just plugs into the back of the radio.

BMW part No 65120153502

Mini part No 82110142174

Thanks russ,

I was hoping that it would connect direct to the iPod , assuming it would then charge the iPod. My wife has one on her civic type r.

Annoy else has any ideas?

Thanks

I have a new mini cooper and the iPod dock lead goes in the upper glove box and connects direct to the boost radio, I think it's a dealer part only
