Strut Braces and Insurance

Post by Zee3 »

I've been thinking of fitting a front strut brace to my 2.8 Z3. So I phoned my insurance company (Liverpool Victoria) up to see if it would affect my insurance.

They said it would be an extra £35 on my insurance per year. Is this normal?

And, if you have a brace fitted to your car, and you haven't told the insurance company, it may be worth giving them a call, as it obviously affects the premium and could invalidate your insurance if you make a claim

Sounds right, I was quoted an extra £25 by Admiral.
